Car Park in the City of London

Streval undertook to carry out a structural investigation of a car park in the City of London for a structural engineer appointed by the principal contractor. Work here included a joint and crack survey of the car park decks, coring for compressive strength, impact echo for slab thickness of ground bearing slabs and suspended decks, carbonation depth measurement and extensive cover surveys to map rebar spacing and size. We provided our own power and used a wet vacuum to remove concrete slurry when coring. Cores were tested at UKAS accredited laboratories.
